i believe

I believe that that life is short and I must make the most of it and in the process, I am only answerable only to myself. I believe that I must live each day as if it were my last. I believe that I must make the most of every moment. I give my best with everything I do, keeping in mind that life is beautiful and I must make the most of it whilst I am alive.
I laugh like no one hears me. I sing like no one is listening. I dance like no one is watching. I write like it is my last article. I dream like I’ll live forever. I love with nothing more than a glance to the possibility that my heart may be broken in the process. I am answerable to no one except myself. I do not need to know what others think of me. I do not care what other people think of me. I do not care if my activities elicit sneers from other. After all, I do not need to answer anything to anyone but myself. I do not need to prove anything to anyone but myself.
The ultimate reason behind this belief is this. I refuse to be boxed up by society. I refuse to be limited by what society deems right and wrong. I refuse to adhere to the impositions of limitations done by society on it members. I do not believe I must follow their rules. I believe that perhaps they were like me in the beginning but society and today’s culture boxed them up. And they became cynics instead.
